Meet Our Team

The Wind River Food Sovereignty Project was started in 2018 by Hank Herrera. Hank dedicated his life to fighting for racial, economic and environmental justice, and for the right of indigenous people and communities to define their own food systems and tell their own stories. The Wind River Food Sovereignty Project is a project of Hank’s 501(c)3 organization The Center for Popular Research, Education and Policy
